So I am finally getting back to normal after being sick for the past week with the most ridiculous chest/ head cold I have had probably since I was a kid (or ever, really). I don't think I have ever coughed so much or so hard in my entire life. Yesterday was the first day I felt like I could move around without an incredible amount of effort, and even though I still have an ear infection, it's like being reborn!! I just wanted to get better already and get back to my normal life!!
In other news, it is absolutely gorgeous lately. Mid 50's, crystal clear. Unfortunately, most of the time I have been inside trying to recover, but the clear air with the windows open at my house are more than enough to help me feel rejuvenated. A co-worker of mine at work works in the gardens and she recently got a new puppy that she has been bringing to work with her every day. Barley is an absolute joy to have around and it's so fun to play with a little puppy! It will be fun to watch her grow over the summer.
I also treated myself to a new sun hat yesterday as I have been eyeing it for a while now. Please ignore the fact that the picture isn't great, I was all puffy from being sick. But the hat it still cute, no?
